Recapping 2019

2019 has been quite the year. As we approach the end of one year, and the beginning of another, we’re often met with the “What will we/you do in the year ahead?” types of questions.

Well, before we move into what is next, let’s take a look back and revisit a few things that we’ve accomplished and sent forth this year:

OUR TEAM

First, we wouldn’t be anywhere without an amazing team. We’ve had an incredible year with our crews here in Atlanta, Kansas City, and New Jersey. A few things we’re proud of:

  • Sam Cochran took Recruiter of the Month TWICE this year.

  • Welcomed Matt Parker to the Spire Team and joined forces with ClearWater Recruiting.

  • Brian Kelly joined our New Jersey Field Office.

  • Veronica Guedez joined the team in Atlanta.

2019 by the numbers

  • 2,000+ hours of Talk Time

  • 751 Interviews

  • 198 Job Offers

  • Thousands who were impacted by what started with a single phone call or email from a Spire representative

WHO WE ARE

Second, we launched a new brand identity and website for Spire (which you may or may not have known). Here’s a side-by-side of our old look and new:

Though our look may have gotten a bit of a refresh, our approach and vision have remained the same: Aspire to continually be a search firm that allows customers to win, candidates to work for companies that represent their values, employees to grow and stakeholders to profit.

Next, we launched our podcast — The Spirecast. We’ve touched on so many great things that we, as recruiters, work through on a daily basis. Knowledge, scenarios, tips and tricks for interviewing, and great stories.

Season Two of The Spirecast is just around the corner! We’re excited to offer new ways to share interviewing tips/tricks, thoughts on hiring, working with recruiters and much more — including video!

So, as we look to 2020 as our greatest challenge yet, we’re anticipating another phenomenal year filled with great challenges, even greater goals being met, stories, new connections, and great triumphs along the way.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year — from all of us at Spire.
